2. Every time I have to interview customers I cringe inside, the last set of interviews was the worst! I get so nervous about people's potential responses or if they'll get angry at me for bothering them. I pulled through and I was able to push aside these thoughts by following a motto I made up back in my cross-country days, "The faster you go the faster you'll get this over with it" I figured that if I completed the interviews in one day the less I'll have to worry and freight about it.
I would say that these past two months I've enjoyed writing more than I have ever before. I love sharing my stories, thoughts, and opinions with my fellow classmates. Having a blog has made this class very enjoyable and less stressful, its almost like my creative outlet on busy days.
3. Tips to Students
- Stay ahead of the game and work on assignments before they are due. Keep a calendar that is in sight. For instance you can get a little white board calendar and put it up on your wall. This way you have an idea of what's going on for the week and to prepare yourself.
- Make your blog page your own! Change the design of your page to match your personality, have fun with it. This will encourage you with assignments and you'll find that your blog represents you and your ideas. By doing this you'll feel less stressed about the course and you'll come to enjoy the work!

I definitely agree with you that I have developed more organizational skills throughout this semester with entrepreneurship. I also agree with you that interviewing customers is the worst. I’m glad that you were able to persevere and complete each assigned task within this class. I also love all your tips! ReplyDeleteBridget,
ReplyDeleteI agree that this class has taught me to keep up with upcoming assignments better and also increased my communication/interviewing skills. I really love the motto you use; it is so much easier with nerve-wrecking assignments to just get them over with instead of procrastinating. I definitely agree with your first two tips for upcoming students. I haven't given much attention to my blog page and I think it is would be a good idea to make it my own to help with stressful posts.
